“The process of life is becoming who we are today, and we have everything still to learn.”
Join me for a conversation with author Carol Finizza about her newly published work of fiction, “Murder on Hollywood Beach.” This story itself was personally a fantastic escape for me from the realm of self-help. Even more intriguing is the story behind how the “messy girl” character, Amanda, came to be.
During a very difficult period of time, Carol created Amanda as a means to cope with the circumstances in her own life over which she had no control. The quirky anti-heroine represents Carol’s own daughter and provided an outlet for the author to process her adult child’s addiction and periodic spirals while her husband battled cancer. This is the first book in a series of “Messy Girl Murder Series,” and you’ll want to hear the backstory and personal healing messages discussed in this episode.
