This episode is a very real and authentic conversation between two friends catching up. Fonyam and I are former colleagues and have maintained our friendship over many years, even though we hold opposing views of who the best NFL team is! I invited Fonyam to share his experience during the pandemic as a soccer coach and a father as all of the stressors began to present themselves and come to the surface. He gets very honest in his accounts that are no doubt very relatable. We discuss the difficulties of asking for help and even acknowledge the ways in which divine intervention has appeared in our lives.
I want everyone listening to know that there is no shame in reaching out or speaking up when you are struggling. While stress has certainly been in the spotlight over the past year, it always has been and always will be true that you are not alone.
