Many of us carry around memories of events that happened at some point in our lives that remain negative and impactful today. Words were said, actions were taken, and we keep reliving these memories like bad dreams. Over time, we allow it to define our self-worth. I refer to this part of us as our inner child; continually seeking comfort and safety.
