The saying goes, “expect nothing and you will never be disappointed.” Well, I have a different perspective on this, and it includes some nuance. Because let’s be honest – human beings have expectations. We just do. We envision how things are going to be in the future. The ability to do this is in itself part of the beauty and wonder of being human! So instead of shelving all expectations, what if we started to really notice their meaning? This episode is an opportunity to explore all of the ways that we define what makes life an adventure. I’ll share some personal realizations and show you how shifting perspective in the slightest way can contribute to your growth and a deeper appreciation of your experiences. Even the messy ones. 😉
